So, we learned something nice today in the Chinese-Language Course, the same thing that we always asked Andy to do before but of course in Hokkien. Sorry Andy, now i know how difficult it is. :)

Indonesian Restaurant

Today i was asked by my roommate if i would like to join them to go to the city at 10am to shoot some nice fotos and then they will go to an indonesian restaurant to have a dinner, but i was just too lazy to go, so i decided to stay at home. He told me that i should join them, so that i can recommend some nice indonesian foods for them. And then he told me that if i would like to go, then i can go with the other guys at 5pm, just to have dinner. 

So, i just stayed at home and chatted with some nice friends, but to be my surprise, they also asked me just go out and have some fun with the others. But i was really lazy that time, and i didnt know why. :)

So, it's 5pm, and actually i had decided not to go, but suddenly one of the guys came to my room and asked me to join them, so i didnt have any choice, just got changed, and joined them. 

But lately i found out that i made the right decision. They know one Indonesian that study at SJTU too, and it was his idea to go to the indonesian restaurant. That indonesian guy has already known about me, but i really didnt have any idea about him. They didnt tell me about him before. I was just really surprised that i can meet indonesia guy here. At first i just thought that maybe i wont meet any indonesian here, because my environment is just full of the exchange students that come from all around the world but no one come from indonesia. And i always hang out with that international students. At the campus i dont see any Indonesian too, or maybe i just cannot tell the difference between indonesian and chinese guys. Then we just introduced ourselves, and he told me that 3-4 other guys from indonesian will join us too at the dinner. 

Then we went to the restaurant, and met the other guys there, tambah lagi kenalan dr indo, 2 cow and 2 cew. Ternyata yg 2 cew tinggal di sblh dormitory gw aja, n gw ga prnh realize it. Utk yg di berlin, kalian uda bisa liat kan perbedaan antara shanghai dgn berlin, hari pertama kenalan ama org indo, uda lgsg ketemu cew, coba kalo di berlin.. ntah mesti tunggu brapa lama br bs ketemu ama cew..wakakka... makany buruan pindah kesini..hahahhaa...:p

The food was delicious, but i think it is too expensive, we spent about 2000 RMB at that time, its already about 220€. We are really multi-culti that night. Ada yg dr indonesia, thailand, france, germany, USA, Kolumbia, Yeman, Pakistan, Bolivia, Brazilia. Sayangny gw lupa bawa kamera, jade ga bs tunjukin de foto ny..:)

First Week in Shanghai

Ga terasa, gw uda di Shanghai selama 1 minggu. Waktu betul2 cepat berlalu. The study in Shanghai is a bit  different from Berlin, we dont have a so-called "Tutorium" here. And the most important thing is the classroom is very cold, especially in the morning. They dont have any heater here, both in the classroom and in the dormitory. All i did in this past week is nothing special. I went to complete my registration and attended lectures, and went to the "real Shanghai" to have a look what shanghai really is. Because my campus is actually almost outside shanghai. It takes about 1 hour to go to the city.

I dont need to cook here, i can find any food in the cafeteria(Mensa), from rice till noodle. It is very cheap too. It costs only about 5RMB-15RMB. The Campus has 5 Cafeteria, you can choose which one you would like to go. But they just open from 06:00 - 09:00 for breakfast, 10:30-13:00 for lunch, and 16:30-19:00 for dinner. But i can go outside the campus to hunt for food too. It is not too expensive too. 

About my life here, till now i just have 1 chinese friend. The rest of my friends are from Germany, USA, Pakistan, Bolivia, and France. I think SJTU has a good cooperation with the school from France. There are about 20 People from France that come here, and all of them are from the same school even from the same class. Can you imagine it?? I just dont believe it at first. Today i'm supposed to go to the city with the other guys, but i'm just too lazy to go there, so i cancel it. They even want to go to an indonesia restaurant tonight, to have an indonesia BBQ. I just still dont know if i would join them. 

Furthermore, we have spontaneously decided to make an international football team here, just for fun to challenge the China guys. We will beat them. :)
